Usually Wed or Thurs evenings How it works:- These sessions have been designed for those who have already attended my throwing taster sessions and who want more practice - and less supervision. I have 3 wheels, and you can book some/ all of them, in a shared or private session Private session for 2: £67 pp Shared session for 3: £54 pp How it works:- * I will start the session with a reminder demo - then let you get on with your own practice * I will be on hand for tips and assistance * session ends 15 mins before end to allow for tidy up/ & cleaning * only pay for glazing for those pieces you want to keep forever Firing & glazing:- £6 per standard pot (my usual glaze) £8 for decorated pots (in coloured slips) Decide at the end of the session what you'd like glazed. Glazing requires drying, bisque & glaze firing and typically takes 4-6 weeks. All creations will be dishwasher safe. I will contact you when your creations are ready for collection. Owing to limited storage space, please collect soonest. Long unclaimed items may get donated These sessions are NOT AVAILABLE to total beginners. Throwing is a skill which requires practice to master. I strongly advocate 121 sessions for your first few sessions to get an idea of the basic technique and format. On the day:- • We are on the corner of Sandpit Lane and Walton street - just up from St Saviours Church. My studio is the black wooden barn with the dragon on the roof • Parking is in Walton street/ Heath road - we are the end on the RHS. (no permits required at weekends, or Weekdays: 11:30-13:30 or after 2:30pm). AL1 4DQ. • Note: Walton street is a ONE WAY system from Boundary Road, the WRONG WAY with no entrance from Sandpit Lane ** Best to have short nails, and clothes you are happy to get muddy/ bring an apron ** Also remove all rings bracelets & watches if possible.
