Teens/ Tweens Pottery Club

Have fun with clay and learn new skills - pinching, coiling, slab work as well as decorating with slips and under-glazes.

Note: this club is open to all local school pupils : year 6 - year 9 students

Hand building sessions at Wheatfields Junior School - 10 sessions

Learn a range of pottery skills - pinch pots, coiling and slab work

Tuesdays until 4:50 pm - 6 pm

Cost: £165 (£16.50 x 10)

Location: Colne room (access from outside door - 2 doors left of Junior school reception)

Notes:

Small group classes will ensure individual attention and support
Potters are advised to bring a clean apron or old baggy shirt each week
This club can be taken on as a Duke of Edinburgh skill, but not essential
Most finished creations will be fired & glazed. EcoPottery activity will run on the last session of term (raw clay + local wildflower seeds - perfect for rewilding)
