Monday afternoons at St Albans Pottery 4-5pm

£20 per session includes all teaching, materials, glazing & firing​

13 weeks of pottery, comprising:-

• Pinching, coiling, slab work, sculpture  and throwing

• Design and research

• Decoration with coloured slips and under-glazes

Note: 

• DofE Skills requirements : Bronze = 13 weeks; Silver = 26/52 weeks; Gold = 52/78 - over rolling 13 weeks courses

• We will run through lots of pottery techniques, including : pinch pots, coiling, slab work, sculpture as well as taking turns throwing on the wheel.  One session will be eco pottery working with raw clay (no firing)

• Potters should bring an apron/ art shirt each week

• On the day, pls let me know if your teen is unable to make a session.  They can collect clay the following week and catch up at home

• Not all creations will be fired in time for the last class. Potters will be advised when to collect.
