How it works:- These sessions have been designed for those who have already attended my throwing taster sessions and who want more practice - and less supervision. How it works:- * book 1 of my 2 wheels * I will do a quick reminder demo - then let you get on with your own practice * I will be on hand for tips and assistance * session ends 10 mins before end to allow for tidy up/ & cleaning * only pay for the glazing for those pieces you want to keep forever Firing & glazing:- This is charged separately - £6 per pot (up to 500g) - at the end of the session. Glazing requires drying, bisque & glaze firing and typically takes 6 weeks. All creations will be dishwasher safe. I will contact you when your creations are ready for collection. Owing to limited storage space, pls collect soonest. Long unclaimed items may get donated These sessions are not available to total beginners. Throwing is a skill which requires practice to master. I strongly advocate 121 sessions for your first few sessions to get an idea of the basic technique and format. This is a new offering - hence TRAIL basis. On the day:- * We are on the corner of Sandpit Lane and Walton street - just up from St Saviours Church. My studio is the black wooden barn with the dragon on the roof * Parking is in Walton street - we are the the end on the RHS. (no permits required at weekends, or Weekdays: 11:30-13:30 or after 2:30pm). AL1 4DQ. * Note: Walton street is a ONE WAY system from Boundary Road, the WRONG WAY with no entrance from Sandpit Lane (note - Parking on Heath Road also possible) * Best to have short nails, and clothes you are happy to get muddy/ apron; Also remove all rings bracelets & watches if possible.
